In Irvine's Shed, the men convene,
Tae blether lang o' things they've seen,
An' whittle bits o' wood sae clean
Ye'd swear it lived afore.
The models rise frae scattered parts,
Wi' wings an' wheels an' crafty arts,
While tales grow tall - aye, men hae hearts
That like a guid uproar.
An' Merv, the chief, wi' steady haun',
Keeps order in this merry clan;
He kens each lad, each tool, each plan -
A captain o' the floor.
Sae raise a cheer, ye harbour crew,
For work that's braw, for friendships true,
For Irvine Shed, whaur life feels new
An' men are men once more.
